The master classes of the cookery art in the hotel “Giuseppe”

On Sunday, 27th of March the second festival "The Day of Europe" was held in Kazan. In Moscow and Saint-Petersburg the Day of Europe is being held during five years. The open days of the consulates take place this day - the Belgians treat  all comers to the chocolate, the representatives of Spain organize the lessons of flamenco. The Day of Europe serves the purpose of informing, communion of the youth with the culture and traditions of the European countries, the growth of friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples.
The organizers of the celebration in Kazan were the Mission of the European Union in Russia, the embassies and Cultural centers of the EU countries together with the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Tatarstan. In the course of the holiday were held the discussions on the actual topics, the cinema festival, the foreign languages lessons, exhibitions, shows  were organized. The Head of the Mission of the European Union in Russia Fernando Valensuela arrived to the grand opening of the holiday.
The peculiar culmination of the holiday has become the holding of the unique gastronomic festival at the Hotel "Giuseppe", where a lot of surprises were waiting for the participants and the invited guests. The Italian, French, Spanish and Greek gastronomic delicacies were presented at the festival. The Sweden cooking was presented by IKEA. During the program of the festival were held the masterclasses of the European cooking, the sampling of the national dishes accompanied by the charming dances flamenco and sirtaki, gastronomic  photographic studio and various contests.
The winner of the contest "Art-object"  was  rewarded with the gift certificate for the dinner in the restaurant Giuseppe.
